Donation Policy

iSmile Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 47-1960603) registered in the United States. We are committed to: - Using donations effectively and in alignment with our mission - Being transparent about how funds are allocated - Providing timely acknowledgements and tax receipts - Respecting donor intent and preferences - Safeguarding the personal information of our donors

We accept donations through the following channels: - Online via our website (processed securely through PayPal) - By check made payable to "Ismile Foundation Inc." mailed to our Brooklyn address - In-kind donations of goods and services - Planned giving and bequests All online transactions are encrypted using SSL technology. We do not store credit card or bank account information on our servers.

Donors may designate their gift to a specific program, project, or fund. Where no designation is made, donations are applied to our general fund and allocated where the need is greatest. If a designated project is completed or the full funding need is met, iSmile Foundation reserves the right to redirect remaining funds to our most urgent priorities, unless the donor requests otherwise.

All donors receive a written acknowledgement of their gift. For donations of $250 or more, a formal tax receipt is required by the IRS and will be provided automatically. Receipts are sent to the email address provided at the time of donation. If you do not receive a receipt within 5 business days, please contact us at ismilefoundationinc@gmail.com. iSmile Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor.

Donors who set up recurring giving (monthly, quarterly, or annually) may cancel or modify their recurring gift at any time by contacting us at ismilefoundationinc@gmail.com. Please allow up to 10 business days to process changes. iSmile Foundation will notify recurring donors of any changes to our donation processing system at least 30 days in advance.

Donations are generally non-refundable. However, we will consider refund requests in the following circumstances: - A duplicate or erroneous transaction occurred - A technical error resulted in an incorrect charge Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction by emailing ismilefoundationinc@gmail.com. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days.

We gratefully accept in-kind donations of goods and services that directly support our programs. Accepted items include school supplies, books, clothing, computers, desks, hygiene products, and other items based on current project needs. Please contact us before sending in-kind donations to confirm current needs and shipping arrangements. iSmile Foundation provides written acknowledgement of in-kind gifts but does not assign a monetary value for tax purposes - donors are responsible for valuing in-kind gifts for their own tax filings.

We respect donors who wish to remain anonymous. Donors may request anonymity at the time of giving. Anonymous donors will not be listed in our annual report or public materials, though they will still receive a tax receipt for their records.

We do not sell, rent, or exchange donor information with any third party. Donor information is used solely to process gifts, provide acknowledgements, and communicate program updates.
