Donation Policy

iSmile Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the United States under EIN: 47-1960603. We are committed to using donations responsibly and in alignment with our mission, being transparent about how funds are allocated, providing timely acknowledgments and tax receipts, respecting donor intent and preferences, and protecting the personal information of our donors.

iSmile Foundation accepts donations through our website, by check, in-kind contributions, planned giving, and bequests. Online donations are processed securely through PayPal, and checks may be made payable to iSmile Foundation Inc. and mailed to our Brooklyn address.

All online transactions are protected using SSL technology. We do not store credit card or bank account information on our servers.

Donors may choose to direct their gift to a specific program, project, or fund. If no designation is made, the donation will be applied to iSmile Foundation’s general fund and used where the need is greatest.

If a designated project is completed or fully funded, iSmile Foundation may apply any remaining funds to the organization’s most urgent needs, unless the donor requests otherwise.

All donors receive written acknowledgment of their gift. For donations of $250 or more, iSmile Foundation Inc. will provide a formal tax receipt.

Receipts are sent to the email address provided at the time of donation. If you do not receive your receipt within 5 business days, please contact us at ismilefoundationinc@gmail.com.

iSmile Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor for guidance.

Donors who set up recurring gifts on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis may cancel or modify their donation at any time by contacting us at ismilefoundationinc@gmail.com. Please allow up to 10 business days for changes to be processed.

iSmile Foundation will notify recurring donors at least 30 days in advance of any changes to our donation processing system.

Donations are generally nonrefundable. However, iSmile Foundation may review refund requests when a duplicate transaction, mistaken payment, or technical error results in an incorrect charge.

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction by emailing ismilefoundationinc@gmail.com. If approved, refunds will be processed within 10 business days.

iSmile Foundation gratefully accepts donations of goods and services that directly support our programs. Accepted items may include school supplies, books, clothing, computers, desks, hygiene products, and other items based on current project needs.

Please contact us before sending any goods or services so we can confirm current needs, delivery instructions, and shipping arrangements. iSmile Foundation provides written acknowledgment for donated goods and services, but does not assign a monetary value for tax purposes. Donors are responsible for determining the value of their contributions for their own tax filings.

We respect donors who wish to remain anonymous. Donors may request anonymity at the time of giving. Anonymous donors will not be listed in our annual report or public materials, though they will still receive a tax receipt for their records.

We do not sell, rent, or exchange donor information with any third party. Donor information is used solely to process gifts, provide acknowledgements, and communicate program updates.
